I continue to have a crush on the ever-talented Emily Henderson. You remember her from my Curbly makeover posts? (See here 1 // 2) Her latest project was helping to renovate the new home of ‘A Cup of Jo’ blogger Joanna Goddard and family. The thing I love about Emily’s style is that her spaces come off as so accessable and fresh. This is a super family-friendly and budget-family living and dining area. The style just works and can be easily translated into your home too.
Really diggin’ the stacked mis-matched frames here. These photos make for great conversation while displaying a piece of family history. The yellow storage unit adds color to the space and gives the kids’ toys a home. Get the look with Benjamin Moore Majestic Yellow 335.
What I love #1 is the use of these simple bookshelves. I may not have time to read as much as I would like but I am definitely a book junkie by way of decor. They add great texture to a room with white walls and add pops of color too. The art, lamp, and frame also add visual interest among the bound paper. What I love #2 is the grey Raleigh Sofa from Design Within Reach. It’s perfect and gives off that ‘I have clean lines but I’m still comfy’ vibe.
Very clean, balanced and modern. Another one of my favorite pieces is the Channing Tufted Leather Chair from Dwell Studio. I heart tufted seating.
