Adding sunglasses to your ensemble is a sure way to top off your look in the coolest way possible. Not only are they fashionable, but they’re really important for eye protection too. It’s taken me a while to get into the habit of wearing sunglasses, especially while driving, but it should be a ritual for goodness and fashion sake.
Joseph Gordon-Leavitt is sporting the wayfarer style. I have the New Small Wayfarer by Ray Ban shown at the top right but I also love the middle pair Clubmaster 49mm by Ray Ban and the bottom pair Campbell by Tom Ford. Ray Ban certainly dominates in wayfarers but if you’re someone who tends to lose or break your sunglasses and need a less expensive alternative, this style is trendy enough that you’ll find it anywhere–I would try looking at Target.
I also really like the cat’s eye style–it reminds me of the Pink Ladies and poodle skirts. I loved these looks: Heidi Klum out and about with kids. The cat’s eye glasses and black pumps add glamour to this otherwise casual look. And is it weird that I always feel bad posting pictures of celebrities doing their everyday things? All I can think about is that someone had to follow her around to get these shots // This look on the right has a laid back summertime feel that I really admire. I gravitated towards these two cat’s eye pieces: Camila 60mm by Michael Kors in black and 61mm Two Tone Cat’s Eyes by Alexander McQueen.
Some other great styles:
I once ate lunch at a five star hotel along the shoreline of Malibu and the couple to the table next to me were dressed head to toe in high-end fashion. The woman wore a pair of circle sunglasses like these and had her hair parted to the center with sun kissed wavy hair framing her face. It was so California cool and kinda hippy-ish and I loved it. I will now forever have respect for the circular sunglass. Photo via Pinterest.
This look is equal parts sweetly feminine & wild & glamourous. It would undoubtedly be less captivating without the cat’s eye sunglasses. Now all she’s missing is a bag or clutch.
