Curbly Makeover: Part Two

A couple weeks ago I had posted about a living area I was obsessing over that was designed by Emily Henderson. Since then I’ve been keeping a close eye out as Emily and the Curbly family gradually released more photos of the house-wide makeover. Seriously people, this is a space I would love to live in. The color palette is so calming and the mid century modern furnishings are beyond crush-worthy.

A general overview of the home thus far:

The living room that started it all via Emily Henderson. Check out the links to see before and after photos of all these rooms. You’ll be amazed. My favorite parts of this room are the tufted Room and Board sofa, the Danish mid century chairs, and the white vintage campaign chest. Also really love the Aloof Gray by Sherwin Williams on the walls.

The dining room via Emily Henderson. Extending from the living room is this dining room which is another perfect portrait of a calming retreat. Beautifully done.

The bedroom via Emily Henderson. I am in love with this mid century dresser and bamboo mirror combination. Walls are Crushed Ice by Sherwin Williams.

Crazy good stuff, right? The color palette just flows between each room while the mix of old and new remain balanced.

Then just this weekend the Curbly’s released yet another perfectly gorgeous room on their blog–their kitchen. I don’t think this space was part of a collaboration with Emily Henderson, but it still flows with the living and dining areas.

I’m a sucker for a white kitchen. That marble backsplash by Olympia Tile is positively devine and really makes the space what it is. Notice how they pulled the blue colors from the living and dining rooms into the kitchen via vases & books above the oven. Smart. That rug is also a fun touch of color for the predominately white space. The walls are Aloof Gray by Sherwin Williams.
